Maninder ate half the dosa on First day. On the second day, he ate half of the remaining remained dosa i.e. 1/4 of the original dosa. Similarly, he ate 1/8 of the original dosa on third day and so on for the five days. In effect, Maninder ate = 1/2 + 1/4 + 1/8 + 1/16 + 1/32 = 31/32 of Dosa
